Catalan course using a wide range of audiovisual resources, designed as the continuation of the Catalan for Beginners course (A1.1). Learning takes place through a fiction series, titled Sense voler; each chapter takes what students must learn and contextualises it in a real environment. The fiction series is further enriched by reels that introduce the grammatical and lexical content to be worked on in each chapter, podcasts discussing cultural topics, both individual and collective activities and a dossier, with incorporated audio recordings that compile all the content dealt with.

Video and downloadable guides for newcomer students to converse with AI with the aim of learning the Catalan language. The resource is proposed as an alternative for conversation if a language volunteer is not available and is based on the oral use of ChatGPT. The guides (in Catalan, Spanish and English) provide basic instructions for conversation and help learners interact appropriately with AI to learn language through conversation.

Curso de catalán de nivel A1.1 con un fuerte componente audiovisual: El hilo conductor es una serie de ficción protagonizada por una estudiante americana, Ella, recién llegada a Barcelona. Los vídeos de ficción se complementan con vídeos de contenido lingüístico locutados en inglés, materiales diversos, foros y ejercicios complementarios. Se incluyen también referencias culturales.

Fils de conversa consists of 10 thematic units that deal with current topics; in each one you will always find four blocks that we call fils, "threads" in Catalan: Mira i parla ("Look and speak"); Escolta i parla ("Listen and talk"); Guaita i opina ("Observe and give your opinion"), and Parlem-ne i fem ("Let's talk and do"). Each thread proposes four activities aimed at introducing vocabulary, encouraging reading among peers, practising linguistic and communicative structures and, above all, facilitating conversation.

This questionnaire poses twenty-five questions with statements that users must rate from 0 to 5. After each question, users are presented with an explanatory text and, when the questionnaire is completed, they receive a final score indicating how open they are to languages. At the end of the questionnaire, regardless of their final score, users have the chance to read a complete profile of someone considered to be "open to languages".

It is designed particularly for students, lecturers, and members of administrative and service staff who are planning a placement in a foreign university or who work with people from around the world daily.
