The Interuniversity Commission for Catalan Language Learning (CIFOLC) awards Catalan language certificates to learners within the languages services who can demonstrate the knowledge required for each level (initial, basic, elementary, intermediate, competence, competence for teaching and research staff, advanced).
These certificates are approved as being of the same level as the reference certificates of the Language Policy Secretariat of the Government of Catalonia. The links below will take you to detailed information on each of the tests, along with a model exam.

- Basic level certificate (equivalent to Language Policy Secretariat Level A: basic)
- Elementary level certificate (equivalent to Language Policy Secretariat Level A: elementary)
- Intermediate level certificate (equivalent to Language Policy Secretariat Level B)
- Competence level certificate (equivalent to Language Policy Secretariat Level C)
- Competence level certificate for teaching and research staff (equivalent to Language Policy Secretariat Level C)
